SBG Idaho athlete Darrell Flores steps back in the cage for the 21st offering from Front Street Fights this Friday, January 10 at CenturyLink Arena in downtown Boise, Idaho. Flores (7-5 MMA, 1-1 FSF) takes on Portland, Oregon’s Quinten Wyland (3-2 MMA, 0-0 FSF) in a professional lightweight main event! Flores made an emphatic return to the cage, after a four year absence, this past October at FSF 20, scoring a first round TKO victory over Kerry Lattimer. Flores looks to continue that momentum against Wyland, who makes his FSF debut on Friday.
Originally scheduled to also compete tomorrow evening were SBG Idaho athletes Stephen Stirewalt (3-1 MMA, 2-0 FSF) and Briley Streeter (3-0 MMA, 2-0 FSF). Unfortunately, illness and injury claimed their respective opponents, and the promotion was unable to find suitable replacements in time. Nonetheless, we are incredibly proud of the time and effort both athletes dedicated in preparing for their fights, and we look forward to future opportunities for them to showcase those improvements!
